Maritimo has elevated its owner events for 2025 with a refined Muster format designed around relaxed, local cruising experiences. By moving away from long-distance passages and focusing on enjoyable, community-focused weekends, Maritimo has created an event style that perfectly suits today’s boating lifestyle. The updated format has been warmly welcomed by owners, making the 2025 Maritimo Muster one of the most engaging and memorable events yet.
A Local Approach That Resonates
In 2025, Maritimo shifted the rhythm of its owner events. Traditional long-haul flotillas were replaced with shorter, local Musters designed to suit the realities of today’s boating community. Australasian Sales Manager Danny Jordin, who oversees Maritimo’s owner engagement strategy, explains, “Whether you’re retired or managing a busy schedule, this new format offers flexibility and connection. It allows owners to fully enjoy their yachts without the stress of extended travel.”
The Moreton Bay Muster in late August marked the launch of this new era. Seventeen vessels gathered at Sanctuary Cove for a casual breakfast before cruising across to Peel Island, led by Maritimo’s new M50 Flybridge. Horseshoe Bay provided warm waters, a beachside setup, and a relaxed atmosphere, creating the perfect mix of structure and freedom for owners.
When a wind shift made the original plan to move the entire fleet to Straddie Brewing Co less feasible, the team adapted quickly, ferrying guests by tender instead. As Jordin highlighted, “Flexibility is key. Our focus is on creating enjoyable, stress-free experiences for our owners.”
Saturday saw a gentle run to RQYS Canaipa, where boats anchored while owners gathered onshore for prawns, fireside chats, and long afternoons under the trees. Children toasted marshmallows while adults shared stories, extending the social energy well beyond the weekend’s official end—a testament to the new Muster style.
Hamilton Island Muster Continues the Momentum
The Hamilton Island Muster in late September reinforced the success of Maritimo’s new approach. Many vessels were already in the Whitsundays for winter cruising, and a small flotilla even formed after the Moreton Bay event, with owners traveling north together. Jordin remarked, “Owners enjoyed the Moreton Bay Muster so much that they decided to cruise north as a group—this shows the format really works.”
The weekend began with relaxed drinks at the marina before the fleet cruised to Cape Gloucester for swimming, stern-deck lounging, and warm tropical afternoons. A sunset gathering on the lawn became a highlight, and when owners chose to return to Hamilton Island to watch the AFL grand final together, it turned into one of the most social nights of the year, capped with a three-course dinner at the Yacht Club. “I’ve never had so many hugs before,” Jordin joked, reflecting the strong sense of camaraderie these Musters now inspire.
Sunday kept the relaxed energy alive with the NRL preliminary final, grazing plates, and plenty of laughter, proving once again that the Muster experience goes beyond cruising—it’s about building community.
Pittwater Closes a Successful Year
The Maritimo Muster 2025 series concluded in Pittwater from 21–23 November, with over twenty-five yachts participating. The fleet cruised from Barrenjoey to Dangar Island, Mooney Mooney, and Cottage Point. The M50 Flybridge once again served as the host vessel, showcasing Maritimo’s long-range cruising capabilities.
From Moreton Bay to the Whitsundays and the serene waters of Pittwater, the 2025 Maritimo Muster series demonstrated what happens when a luxury yacht company listens to its owners. Shorter events. Lower stress. More time on the water. Exactly what every boater dreams of.
