Maritimo S50 Sedan Motor Yacht – 2026 Launch

Maritimo S50 Sedan Motor Yacht – 2026 Launch

Maritimo continues to set the standard in luxury motor yachts with the introduction of its latest innovation, the S50 Sedan Motor Yacht. As Australia’s leading luxury yacht builder, Maritimo expands its next-generation S-Series line-up with a vessel designed for performance, style, and owner-focused comfort. The S50 will make its global debut at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. From the 21–24 May 2026, promising an exciting new chapter in Australian yachting.

A Fresh Take on the S-Series Legacy

The S50 isn’t just a smaller sibling of the M50. It’s a complete reimagining of Maritimo’s iconic sport yacht DNA. Drawing on the success of the M50 and the design language of the S55, S60, and S75 models, the S50 combines modern Australian design with the spirit of open-water adventure. It delivers a sleek, aggressive profile with an interior layout that flows seamlessly for both socialising and practical living aboard.

Neil McCabe, Maritimo’s Design Manager, explains: “The S50 is a purpose-built sports motor yacht designed around the owner’s experience. It’s spacious, elegant, and entirely focused on making life on the water effortless and enjoyable.”

Design That Balances Style and Function

From the muscular, horizontally defined lines to the slender new hardtop, the S50 embodies contemporary luxury. The raked windscreen, modern side windows, and sculpted rear pillars enhance both the yacht’s dynamic look and cockpit experience. The new Euro-style lazarette opens to reveal expansive storage for tenders and water toys, while the larger swim platform, measuring 1.3m deep, provides more usable deck space and ease of access.

“The S50’s profile isn’t just about looks,” says McCabe. “Every element from the hull to the master cabin window was refined to give the yacht a modern, athletic appearance while improving performance and usability.”

Open, Connected, Owner-Focused Interiors

Maximising space and flow was central to the S50’s design. The main deck integrates the cockpit and galley, creating a connected, social environment ideal for entertaining. The galley features a full return layout, mirrored to port, with flexible storage for wine, fridges, or an ice maker. Across from the galley, a two-seater settee provides additional seating or converts into a guest bed.

“The S50 was designed for owners who value simplicity, style, and function,” says Senior Designer Julian Villegas. “It’s easy to operate, low-maintenance, and still uncompromising on luxury.”

Attention to detail extends to helm design, with an electrically adjustable, cantilevered crew seat and a new ‘floating dash’ for improved visibility and accessibility. Generous headroom, abundant natural light, and thoughtfully placed windows enhance the feeling of spaciousness, while below deck, the owner’s stateroom and guest cabin offer comfort rivaling much larger yachts.

Engineering That Delivers Performance and Efficiency

Beneath the elegant exterior, the S50 benefits from advanced engineering and lightweight construction, including refined laminates and infusion techniques. Maritimo’s in-house team ensures quality at every step, from design to moulding and finishing, maintaining the brand’s reputation for durability and performance.

“The S50 blends innovation, craftsmanship, and functionality,” explains Villegas. “It’s a yacht that feels substantial, yet manageable for an owner-operator. Every design decision enhances the experience, whether at sea or at anchor.”

A True Maritimo Experience

The S50 reflects Maritimo’s commitment to progressive, luxury yachting. With its distinctive profile, spacious cockpit, versatile galley, and luxurious staterooms, it embodies the perfect balance of style, comfort, and performance. “This yacht is a sports motor yacht through and through,” says McCabe. “It’s open, connected, and ready for adventure, delivering everything owners expect from the S-Series in a compact, elegant package.”

With the S50 Sedan Motor Yacht, Maritimo continues to evolve its S-Series fleet, offering owners a modern, luxurious, and truly Australian yachting experience.
